An Award Winning Entrepreneur
Famous for her organically produced ALPSNACK energy bars, Trudy's Triumph Tea, and The Brush Gertrude has accumulated an enormous number of air travel miles over the last few years.
Returning from a recent expo in Orlando, her flight was routed through cold and drafty Minnesota. The flights from Florida and to San Diego offered no blankets or pillows, as has become the standard for the industry, and she was freezing all the way. The four hour layover she endured at the Minnesota airport, of course in a drafty terminal without adequate heating for a warm-weather person like her, was nearly unbearable.
While the rest of us would have been satisfied with complaining, Trudy put her time to good use designing an answer to the problem and making it environmentally friendly as well.
The result is Trudy's Travel Throw, a fleece wrap-around blanket with a pocket to keep your feet warm and cozy but spacious enough to stand up in to let someone pass by, and a carrying case with a built-in neck pillow. Learn more >> |
